Thaw Conservation Center and Exterior Renovation Tour at The Morgan Library & Museum

Please join us on June 13th at 6:30pm at The Morgan Library and Museum for special behind-the-scenes tours by Cooper alumni Sam Anderson AR'82, Edward Gormley AR’90 and Jon Maass AR'97.
Thaw Conservation Center – Samuel Anderson AR’82 and Edward Gormley AR’90 of Samuel Anderson Architects designed this world-class conservation lab where The Morgan’s collection is studied and preserved. Along with Maria Fredericks, Sherman Fairchild Head of the Thaw Conservation Center, they will lead a tour of this beautiful space located in the historic Morgan House.
Exterior restoration of J. Pierpont Morgan’s Library and enhancements to the Gardens – Jon Maass AR’97 was the Owner's Representative and Project Manager of the first comprehensive restoration of the McKim-designed building which is considered one of the finest examples of Neoclassical architecture in the United States. The enhancements to the grounds by Todd Longstaffe-Gowan allow visitor access to the Gardens for the first time in the museum’s history.
